The Reinvention Network Learning Lab

ASCI (Alliance for Supply Chain Innovation) was launched as a not-for-profit company at the end of 2011. ASCI is an industry-driven entity that facilitates and/or manages collaborative research projects (see press release). The Reinvention Learning Lab is being used as a facility to explore mechanisms for research project identification and prioritisation.

In February 2010 the Dutch Government Agency RAAK International announced its support for a proposal submitted by HAN University. The project, "Sustainable new business in a built environment fostering SME innovation capabilities in inter-organizational collaborative settings" The project will involve Dutch, Swedish and Australian Universities working with a number of enterprises in each country pursuing innovations to support environmental sustainability. Business and technology students will spend time in the participating firms under the guidance of management researchers to help introduced improved practices ina sustainability context. The project is scheduled to start in August 2010 and be completed by the end of June 2012. The University of Western Sydney is the Australian project Coordinator
